Unai Emery has offered fulsome praise to Atletico Madrid prior to taking his Sevilla team to Vicente Calderon.
AS reports Emery saying at his pre-match Press conference playing the champion is unlike playing another other team in Spain.
“They’re a unique case. Since Diego Simeone came, Atletico challenge you a lot and require a lot of preparation since these games measure our capability and our response,” the Coach revealed.
“Very few teams play as they do and very few teams are able to respond – Barcelona and Real Madrid can’t.
“Our opponents are a very high level. They’re the reigning champions and Champions League runners-up. That multiplies the importance and attractiveness of the game.
“Football is for men and what Atletico do is completely legitimate. They do it with good results and we have to be prepared to face it.
“Atletico are lethal from set-pieces and have great power in the air from several players. We have to be aware of it in every second of the game.
