Bravo welcomes Barca competition

Claudio Bravo isn’t bothered by the presence of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Jordi Masip at Barcelona, welcoming the competition.

Bravo left Real Sociedad for Barca earlier in the summer while Ter Stegen was signed from Gladbach and Masip was moved up from the B team.

The trio replace Victor Valdes and Jose Pinto, who departed Camp Nou at the end of their contracts.

“[Moving to Barca] was easy because I was playing at the World Cup and could focus on my future and competing there,” AS reports the Chile captain as saying.

“I’ve been accepted, training, partnering with my new teammates, who welcomed me in an incredible way. That helps to adapt.

“The three of us are working at our maximum because that’s what’s required to help the team.

“We have a healthy, fair competition and the important thing is to help the team.”
