Liga duo get just 12,000 tickets for ESC

Real Madrid and Sevilla are thought to be disappointed with UEFA’s decision to give them only 6,000 tickets each for the European Super Cup.

With Los Blancos winning the Champions League, and the Rojiblancos winning the Europa League, the Liga duo will face off in the season opener in August.

But it has been revealed that both teams will only be allowed an allocation of 6,000 – just 40 per cent of the Cardiff City Stadium, where the game will be played.

AS report that the clubs are thought to be annoyed by the announcement, especially considering the 75,000-seater Millennium Stadium is also in the city.

European football’s governing body have confirmed that 12,000 tickets will go to the Spanish teams, whilst another 12,000 will go to the general public, and 6,000 to special guests.
