Hakan Calhanoglu’s father has revealed that both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are interested in signing his son.
The 20-year-old playmaker has been one of the few bright sparks for Hamburg this season, in what has been a perennial relegation battle.
The Turkish youngster though, has shone, attracting offers from two of Liga’s biggest clubs.
“We have accepted an offer from Hamburg for a renewal until 2018,” Huseyin Calhanoglu told AS.
“But right now we’ve got 10 different clubs all interested in Hakan – and Atleti are one of them.
“Even Real Madrid have spoken to my son’s representative, Bektas Demirtas. But we’ll have to think about that in the summer.
“Barca? No, there’s been nothing from them.”
