Karl-Heinz Rummenigge wants Cristiano Ronaldo to recover in time to be fit for the Champions League semi-finals.
The Real Madrid talisman has been out injured of late but the Bayern Munich chairman wants the Portuguese to face his side.
“I hope he can play,” Rummenigge told reporters. “I enjoy watching the best players in the world out on the pitch.
“According to FIFA, Ronaldo is the best in the world.
“I’m not scared of Madrid, because as you know in Madrid they call us ‘The Black Beast.’ They have a lot of respect for us.
“Equally, we respect them a lot too.”
