Neither Diego Costa nor Arda Turan took part in Atletico Madrid training today as they prepared for their Champions League meeting with Barcelona.
The duo both missed Saturday’s 1-0 League win over Villareal through injury and it remains to be seen whether they will be fit for Wednesday’s match.
Costa is still recovering from a thigh injury and is said to be the more doubtful of the two but Arda, who today underwent physiotherapy for a hernia problem, is expected to be available.
Raul Garcia will definitely return after serving a European suspension, as will club captain Gabi who missed the Villareal match for the same reason.
