Liverpool are stepping up their interest in Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo and had a scout watching a recent Los Che match.
Super Deporte says a Reds representative was present at Mestalla for Valencia’s 2-1 win over Granada at the end of February.
The depth of Liverpool’s interest in Parejo is said by the publication to be shown with the identity of the scout sent to watch the player – the club’s chief scout, Barry Hunter.
But Valencia are not interested in selling the 25-year-old and consider Parejo to be one of the team’s most important players, the report adds.
