Madrid target Espanyol’s Casilla

Real Madrid are aware that Iker Casillas or Diego Lopez could leave in the summer, so have made Espanyol’s Kiko Casilla their number one target.

The current goalkeepers have been rotated this term, with Lopez playing in the League and Casillas playing in the cup competitions.

However, with both shot-stoppers of such high quality, Marca have claimed that Los Blancos admit that one of them may want to leave at the end of the season.

As such, Carlo Ancelotti’s men have put the Periquitos No.1 as their main target for the summer.

Casilla has been a perennial starter for Javier Aguirre’s, establishing himself as one of the best in Spain.

Barcelona had previously been linked with his services before opting for Marc-Andre ter Stegen to replace Victor Valdes.
