Vicente Del Bosque has commented for the first time on Diego Costa’s decision to play for Spain.
It was confirmed on Tuesday that the Atletico Madrid striker had opted to turn his back on Brazil and play international football for La Roja instead.
And the Coach has claimed that the forward’s choice is a good one.
“It is good news,” he told reporters. “Yes it is good news.
“Will the supporters be happy? Why wouldn’t they be.”
