A report in England suggests that as Gareth Bale returns to the country, Tottenham have received offers from more than just Real Madrid.
The Welshman is seen as returning from a weekend holiday in Marbella to London today, but with Madrid and Spurs seen in both England and Spain as on the verge of announcing a deal said to be worth between €90m and €100m.
Whilst it is believed that the transfer, which could set a new world record fee, will be confirmed by the clubs as soon as a matter of hours and that Bale will then fly out to Madrid, Sky Sports suggest otherwise.
The outlet believe that no deal has been reached with Madrid and that sources have indicated to them that Tottenham are considering bids received from ‘more than one club’.
Through the summer, Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have all been paired with possible interest in the 24-year-old.
It is suggested that enquiries for the winger have come in over recent weeks from one club in England and two in Europe.
