Soldado set to complete Spurs move

Roberto Soldado’s move from Valencia to Tottenham looks to be on the verge of completion, reports in the Spanish Press claim.

Sources close to news outlet EFE insist that the deal is likely to be done next week, with the north London club paying Los Che €30m.

A previous bid of €26m for the goalscorer had been rejected by Miroslav Djukic’s men, but his release clause is set to be paid by the Premier League club, who hope to tie up personal terms in the next few days.

Soldado has been a consistent performer for the Mestalla side since his arrival from Getafe in 2010 – last term the 28-year-old netted 24 goals in 35 appearances.
