Bayern Munich will reportedly have £100m to spend for new Coach Pep Guardiola in the summer and will give up half of it for Gareth Bale.

The Tottenham winger has been linked on and off with a move away from White Hart Lane for the past couple of years, with both Real Madrid and Barcelona in particular linked with moves.

However, former Barca boss Guardiola is reportedly set to bring Bayern into the bidding for the Welshman this summer.

The Daily Mail say that the club will hand him a £100m transfer budget for the summer and that they and their Coach have identified Bale as a primary target.

Guardiola is described by the British publication as a keen admirer of Bale’s for a number of months, with Bayern understood to be prepared to pay up to £50m to secure the 23-year-old’s services.
