Alexis Sanchez has denied pushing for a move away from Barcelona, rejecting the notion that he is unhappy with the club.
The Chilean has struggled for form and fitness at the Camp Nou since signing from Udinese 18 months ago and has been linked with a switch to Juventus this January.
However, the player has reportedly stepped out to clarify his situation at La Blaugrana.
“I’m doing well and playing in the big games with the first team, so I do not see why I should be unhappy,” he is said as having told reporters in Chile this week.
“I absolutely do not feel sidelined. I do not want to leave and I want to win here.”
