Alongside Tito Vilanova’s first appearance as head Coach, Barcelona will be debuting another new element to their club today – the players’ tunnel.
The passage from the dressing rooms to the pitch has undergone renovation work over the summer and now features images of the current selection of players adorned along the walls.
It is also pays tribute to the club’s four European Cup-winning sides with images of those sides to have lifted the trophy.
The tunnel is also described as better lit, whilst a new ‘Welcome’ sign has been written above the visiting team’s dressing room door.
This evening sees Barcelona kick off their 2012-13 League campaign at home to Real Sociedad.
