Inter following Luka Jovic and Dani Ceballos as both search for minutes

Such is Real Madrid’s abundance of quality in their squad, they tend to be a happy hunting ground for other large teams in Europe when it comes to players playing less than they would like.

In recent years, Alvaro Morata, Achraf Hakimi and Brahim Diaz have all left the Spanish capital to cross the Mediterranean Sea, achieving success in Italy.

Inter are reportedly looking to repeat that feat. The Nerazzurri are keeping a close eye Serbian striker Luka Jovic and Dani Ceballos, who have seen little game time this season.

In particular with Jovic, it seems clear neither the club nor his manager trust him and the player himself is keen on leaving Madrid. Corriere dello Sport say Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was at the Santiago Bernabeu to take in the Champions League clash between Los Blancos and Chelsea on Tuesday night in a story carried by Mundo Deportivo.

Although he was there to sound out the situation with Real Madrid more than anything, he only got to see 34 minutes of players he was there for, with Ceballos replacing Fede Valverde in the 86th minute.
