Miroslav Djukic believes the point picked up by Cordoba against Real Sociedad is a very important one.
The draw came in Djukic’s first game in charge after he last week replaced Albert Ferrer on the Cordoba bench.
Inigo Martinez put La Real in front but Xisco equalised with three minutes to play and Djukic saw a lot to like in the match.
“This is the way. We were strong and we worked well,” he said after the match, Marca reports.
“It’s a very important point. We did a great job after conceding early. It was their only shot on goal and could have undermined us.
“We held up well. I look at the game as very positive and I thought in the second half we were deserving of winning the game.
“I don’t think we were missing intensity. We were playing a very fast opponent. In four days it was difficult to get some things.”
