Real Madrid will not celebrate if La Liga title is clinched this weekend

Real Madrid are almost over the line in their push to be crowned La Liga champions this season.

Los Blancos head into this weekend’s action needing just four points to be confirmed as the kings of the Spanish top flight.

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make significant rotations for their home clash with Cadiz ahead of a UEFA Champions League semi final second leg against Bayern Munich.

With the first leg tied after a 2-2 draw in Bavaria, Ancelotti’s focus is on the return game on May 8.

If Real Madrid beat Cadiz and El Clasico rivals Barcelona fail to win at third place Girona, the title will be wrapped up.

However, as per the latest update from Diario AS, Ancelotti has told his squad there will be no celebration until after the Bayern game.

If the title is confirmed this weekend, a traditional planned party at the iconic Plaza de Cibeles could be held on May 10, with a possible Champions League final not until June 1.
