Real Madrid defender Marcelo has license revoked in Brazil

Real Madrid defender Marcelo has had his car license removed while on holidays in his native Brazil after refusing a breathalyser test.

The report in Marca outlines how the full-back also had to pay a €600 fine for the incident and will not be allowed to drive in the country for the next year.

Six years ago, the Brazil international also had problems with driving in the Spanish capital when he was fined €6k in relation to license problems.

The defender is set to stay at Los Blancos this summer despite reports linking him to an exit alongside the €55m arrival of Ferland Mendy from Lyon.

Theo Hernandez looks set to join Milan in a €20m deal while Sergio Reguilon appears likely to join Sevilla on a loan deal.
