Real Madrid have been linked with a summer move for Napoli midfielder and Spain Under-21 star Fabian Ruiz, according to Diario AS.
The 23-year-old is said by Napoli to be ‘non-transferable’ but the report adds that they will listen to ‘juicy offers’ for the player and could be seduced by bids in excess of €70m.
Fabian received his first senior Spain cap this month and has impressed in his debut Serie A season - scoring seven goals and providing three assists - following a €30m transfer from Real Betis last summer.
“I have a contract here and I am happy here, the fans can rest assured,” Fabian is cited as saying by Marca.
“I thank the fans for the support they have given me, thank you for your love, my welcome at the club has been very positive.
“Playing with good players is always better and I think Rodrigo (Moreno, Valencia) is an excellent striker, all teams would like to have him and he would be very happy if he signed up for us.
“Both he and James (Rodriguez, Real Madrid) are great names, if they arrived at Napoli they would be welcome.”
