Joao Felix: I am happy at Benfica

Benfica star Joao Felix has revealed that he is happy at the Portuguese champions, despite reported interest from Europe's top clubs.

Felix, 19, has enjoyed a brilliant first season with the club, scoring 20 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions and he has been linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester City, who want to pair him with Portuguese team mate Bernardo Silva for the 2019-20 season.

He has also attracted interested from Spain, with La Liga duo Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid both reported to be considering a bid for the teenager.

However, the speculation is not affecting Felix, who has been called up into the Portuguese senior squad for the first time for the UEFA Nations League semi final with Switzerland.

"I am good here at Benfica, and I am very happy, he told the club's official website.

"I adore the fans and they adore me.

"I want to keep enjoying the moment and in the future let things happen naturally.

"But I am very happy at Benfica."
