Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz wants to be at the club “for many years” and hailed their fans as “the best in the world.”
The 19-year-old joined Los Blancos in January in a €15m move from Manchester City and scored a golazo in Sunday’s 3-1 loss at Real Sociedad as his impressive individual form continued.
“I am very happy at Madrid and I want to play here for many years…I work every day to give my best,” Brahim told reporters, as cited by Marca.
“Zinedine Zidane? I have been with him for a short time, but I've learned a lot from the Coach, I work every day and from being a child I have done that, always the same.
“That I was applauded (by the Madrid fans) the other day was an honour, they are the best fans in the world, and I know that in this team only goals and assists are worth because it is the most demanding club in the world.
“I want to play here for many years.”
