FC Porto defender Alex Telles tops the list of Atletico Madrid’s preferred transfer targets this summer, according to Diario AS.
Telles has also been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Juventus while Porto are adopting a stance that they will not sell the defender for less than his €40m release clause.
Atleti may need to strengthen the position this summer with Filipe Luis out of contract this summer and Lucas Hernandez strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
The 26-year-old has previously enjoyed spells at Inter and Galatasaray and last season helped Porto to their first league title since 2013.
The report also outlines a number of other potential left-back options with Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico, Benfica’s Alex Grimaldo and Jose Luis Gaya of Valencia under consideration.
