Barcelona ‘do not consider transfer market closed’

Barcelona director Guillermo Amor has told reporters: “We are open to the market, you can never say that it is closed.”

The Catalan giants have been busy in this transfer window so far, adding defender Jeison Murillo on loan from Valencia alongside a temporary move for Sassuolo forward Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Additionally, the club have announced a summer deal of €86m for Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong, while striker Munir El Haddadi has joined Sevilla for €1m.

“We are open to the market, you can never say that it is closed,” Amor told BeIn Sports on Sunday.

There has been rumours of possible exits from the club this month including for the out-of-favour duo Denis Suarez and Malcom.
