Valverde: Grizi, Rafinha, Coutinho….

Ernesto Valverde repeats Antoine Griezmann is a ‘great’ player, confirms Rafinha will join Inter and hopes Philippe Coutinho “can play for Barcelona soon.”

Valverde was asked about the trio ahead of Barca’s trip to Real Betis on Sunday, with the Coach also warning his side that the Andalusians had what it took to ‘dominate’ at Benito Villamarin.

“Quique’s like me in preferring a 6-0 over a 6-6,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

“He has a way of expressing how he wants his team to play near their opponents’ goal. It’s what he feels and what his teams do.

“We share many things. We’re two teams that dominate the game as a way to cancel out our opponents.

“Griezmann? He’s a great player at another club, who we respect enough not to talk about these things.

“We’re always the same, it’s a world in which speculation happens on a daily basis, and we must deal with it.

“Griezmann’s a great player, but I want to talk about mine first. Rafinha? He has permission to sort out a contractual situation.

“I talked to him about his injury and he thought the besr he got minutes, which would be complicated for him to get at Barca.

"The idea is that Rafinha can play again after so much time out. We hope he can get those minutes.

“If he played against Espanyol, it’s because we thought he could help us. Coutinho? I think he can play for us soon.

“I don’t know if it’ll be on Thursday or next week, but we see him in good way.”
