Inaki Williams rescued a point for Athletic Bilbao at Espanyol on Sunday as the home team and management were booed by their own fans.
The struggling Catalan club netted only their 16th League goal in 19 matches to take the lead as Gerard Moreno fired home just before the half-hour mark.
That finish quietened the vocally discontent home fans at Cornella-El Prat, but the anger came to the fore again six minutes later, when Inaki headed home the equaliser.
Quique Sanchez Flores is reportedly coming under increased pressure at the club, despite reportedly rejecting the chance to become Stoke City’s new manager.
His team stay in 14th, one point and three places behind Athletic Bilbao.
