Betis complete Amat deal

Swansea City defender Jordi Amat has arrived in Seville to complete his medical tests at Real Betis, say various reports in Spain.

According to both Estadio Deportivo and ABC de Sevilla, the 25-year-old defender is expected to be announced as a new Betis player on Thursday.

The Barcelona-native moved to Swansea in 2013 and has made 52 Premier League appearances at the Liberty Stadium, but is reportedly keen on a return to La Liga.

He will join the Seville-based club on an initial loan deal which will include an option to buy at the end of the campaign.

Amat is expected to replace Getafe-bound Bruno Gonzalez at Benito Villamarin, and will be the fourth signing of the summer for Betis.

Los Verdiblancos have already concluded deals for Sergio Leon, Victor Camarasa and Cristian Tello while deals for Andres Guardado and Antonio Barragan are also said to be close.
