Ramos to skip Valladolid?

Sergio Ramos is speculated as having picked up a thigh injury that may rule him out of Real Madrid’s League clash this weekend.

The defender played out the 90 minutes of Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund, despite reportedly playing in pain for the final segment after a clash with goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.

Cadena Cope say that Ramos sustained a torn hamstring in a challenge with the German ‘keeper and that he will almost certainly miss the weekend visit of Real Valladolid in the League.

The club have released no official statement on Ramos’ condition, but the defender did sit out today’s training session, along with the continually recovering Alvaro Arbeloa and Marcelo.
