IFFHS salute Mourinho again

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics have selected Jose Mourinho as the Best Club Coach for a fourth year.

The Portuguese won the Spanish League title and Spanish Super Cup during the calendar year of 2012 and has been recognised for that with the FIFA recognised award from the IFFHS.

It is the fourth time that Mourinho has polled top in this title's vote among specialised media representatives, having previously won it in 2004, 2005 and 2010.

The tactician, who finished second to Vicente del Bosque in the voting for the Ballon d’Or Coach of the Year earlier this week, picked up 101 votes in the IFFHS award, putting him ahead of second place Roberto Di Matteo and third place Diego Simeone. Pep Guardiola, who was third in the Ballon d’Or voting, finished fourth in this vote.

The IFFHS recently listed Lionel Messi as the best international goalscorer of 2012 and voted Iker Casillas as the best goalkeeper of 2012.
