Both Carles Puyol and Thiago Alcantara look set to be included in Barcelona’s squad for the weekend trip to Getafe.
The duo have been working on their fitness back in Catalonia during the international break after respective injuries and are reportedly set to be declared available for selection for Tito Vilanova this Saturday.
Puyol has been working the past fortnight with a protective mask for the fractured cheekbone he suffered against Osasuna in Week 2, whilst Thiago has been out of action with a thigh injury sustained a few months ago, with his last appearance for the team the Copa del Rey Final back in May.
Both players were though ready if required for Barca’s last game, the 1-0 home win over Valencia, but were uninvolved in the game as a precaution.
