Real Betis will take to the field in a special kit this Sunday against Athletic Club, as they seek to raise awareness about the climate crisis.
The special kit will be made from recycled materials as part of Betis’ ‘Forever Green’ project, which seeks to promote sustainable living practices. The kit was presented earlier this week and will be made available to fans to purchase.

That is part of variety of initiatives taking place on Sunday. Betis fans will be able to obtain discounts on electric transport to the Benito Villamarin, improved waste management and messaging around the stadium with suggestions on how to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
The club also say that one euro from each ticket purchased using their Forever Green discount code will be donated to a reforestation project. Once the match has taken place, the carbon footprint will be calculated and measures taken to offset that impact, according to the club press release.
