Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Belgian international Eden Hazard will return for their La Liga clash with Celta Vigo this weekend.
Los Blancos host OScar Garcia’s side tomorrow, as they look to maintain their three point lead over arch rivals at the top of the table.
Hazard has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury during their Champions League draw against Paris Saint-Germain on November 26.
However, despite suffering a number of setbacks in his rehabilitation, Zidane is confident the former Chelsea man is ready for a comeback.
“The team will gain a great player as he returns,” he told reporters from Marca in his pre-match press conference.
“It is time for him to return, and physically he is OK to play.”
“However, he has been out for three months, so we have to consider that also.”
Zidane hinted that Hazard would feature in next week’s Champions League last 16 clash with Manchester City, and indicated that he was still wary of the strength of Pep Guardiola’s side, despite the announcement of the UEFA ban.
Gareth Bale is also set to be included in the squad to face the Galician side, after recovering from a minor hand injury.
