Gareth Bale returns to Real Madrid squad for Real Sociedad clash

Gareth Bale has been included in the Real Madrid squad to face Real Sociedad.

The Welsh international has been called up by manager Zinedine Zidane for the first time since October 5th.

Bale was injured in the 4-2 win at home to Granada, but despite returning to full fitness two weeks ago, Zidane has opted not to select him.

That decision created another flashpoint between the pair, and the situation was intensified with Bale's decision to join up with Ryan Giggs' Wales squad last week.

The 30-year played in back to back games for Wales, as they secured qualification for Euro 2020.

Bale courted further controversy after posing behind a Wales flag, with the slogan, 'Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order.'

However, Zidane has insisted that he remains part of his plans and has included him for the visit of Imanol Alguacil's side.

Nacho Fernandez, Lucas Vazquez, James Rodriguez and Marco Asensio all miss out through injury, with Vinicius Junior omitted from the squad.
