PSG intent on move for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior

Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior next summer, according to a report in Diario Sport.

The Parisian club’s sporting director Leonardo is said to be intent on landing his fellow countryman and the two have expectations they will hold talks this summer.

However, it follows on from a recent report in Diario AS which claims that the forward is intent on staying in the Spanish capital and has ruled out a January loan exit.

The report cites that Arsenal and Milan are among the clubs interested in the Brazilian, while Paris Saint-Germain repeatedly asked for him to be included in a theoretical player swap deal last summer with Neymar.

The 19-year-old had enjoyed an excellent debut campaign in the Spanish capital, with four goals in 19 starts in all competitions in 2018-19.

However, this season Vinicius has found things a little tougher and has been selected in Zinedine Zidane’s starting XI just four times this campaign, with a further five appearances as a substitute.

There have been times when he has been frozen out of a matchday squad altogether and the prominence of his fellow Brazilian teenager Rodrygo Goes has highlighted his absences.

Vinicius is said to have no interest in any sort of exit from Los Blancos soon.
