The French international has struggled with a persistent knee injury over the last 12 months, but the club stated in the summer that they were confident he had completed a full recovery.
However, according to reports in Diario AS this weekend, he missed first team training as a precaution, and is expected to miss the visit of Sergio Gonzalez's side on October 30.
Sergi Roberto has returned to training after injuring his knee in last weekend's win at Eibar, and missing the Champions League victory away at Slavia Prague.
He is expected to be named in the squad to face Real Valladolid, alongside strikers Carles Perez and Ansu Fati, who have also recovered from minor injuries in training.
