Real Madrid looking to sell Alvaro Odriozola

Real Madrid are reportedly looking at selling Alvaro Odriozola this summer, as they look for replacements at right back.

According to reports in Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Zinedine Zidane has decided that the Spanish international does not fit into his plans as either first choice, or as back up to Dani Carvajal.

He has started just four games so far this season, as Carvajal recovered from injury, and he was sent off in last weekend's defeat against Real Mallorca.

The La Liga giants are already reportedly looking at alternatives to the former Real Sociedad full back, with AC Milan's Davide Calabria, Lukas Klostermann from RB Leipzig and Nice's Youcef Atal all rumoured to be on their wish list.

Alongside the potential of a January move for one of these targets, Zidane is also keen to bring Hakim Achraf back ahead of next season, when he completes his season long loan at Borussia Dortmund.

If he does come back to Madrid, he is likely to be installed as Carvajal's understudy, with Odriozola moving on to another La Liga side.
