Real Madrid pair Gareth Bale and Luka Modric have both suffered injury scares on international duty.
The pair faced each other in Euro 2020 qualifying action, in a 1-1 draw in Cardiff, with Bale grabbing the Welsh equaliser – but the game ended with both players struggling with injury.
Modric has struggled with injuries so far this season, after picking up a thigh problem during the international break in September – however the Croatian medical team moved to dampen any concerns over his injury.
Despite being substituted in the final minutes at the Cardiff City Stadium, a source from the Croatian back room team told Marca, that it was not a serious injury.
Bale suffered a minor knee injury in last week's 1-1 draw away in Slovakia, and Giggs confirmed that he was struggling with cramp in the closing stages.
Both players will return to Spain tomorrow, with Bale's injury expected to be cured with rest in the coming days, however Modric will undergo tests on his return to the Spanish capital.
