Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis to get tattoos for Real Madrid goals

Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis is now set to get tattoos to mark his historic double strike at Real Madrid this week.

The 21-year-old gave the Belgian side a shock two-goal lead in the first half and while Madrid rescued a point in the tie, it was still a historic result for the Blauw-Zwart.

“Santiago Bernabeu, this is a dream,” Dennis said ahead of the match on his Youtube channel, as cited by ESPN FC.

“A lot of people didn't even think they would come here to play. If I score then I will get a tattoo on my skin.”

After the match he then told Belgian television channel RTL: “I guess I will now have to get two tattoos!

“I'm happy to have scored two goals, but we really wanted to win the game and we were not far away from doing it. We have to be content with the point, which is not a bad result.”

Club Brugge now have two points from their opening two group games – having also secured a draw in their opening matchday at home to Galatasaray.

Philippe Clement’s side now sit second in a tough group which also includes French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
