Zinedine Zidane has called on his players to be more ruthless in front of goal.
Los Blancos were indebted to Gareth Bale in their 2-2 draw at Villarreal CF, as the Welshman scored his first two goals of the season – but the Frenchman wants his forwards to score more.
"I am very happy for Bale, he took his goals very well.
"We wanted to create chances and get lots of crosses in from Lucas and Gareth on the right and left.
"But we lacked goals, despite creating many chances.
"It is frustrating that we did not score more, but I cannot really complain about the general performance.
"Apart from the first 15 minutes we played well."
Zidane also confirmed that the club could make a last minute move into the transfer market, with the La Liga transfer window set to close tomorrow.
