FC Barcelona midfielder Oriol Busquets is close to joining Dutch club FC Twente on a season-long loan.
The 20-year old has previously been linked with a move to the Eredivisie, and FC Utrecht, however according to reports in Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, he is now set for Gonzalo Recoba's side.
A move to FC Twente would see Busquets reunited with former FC Barcelona underage team mates Julio Pleguezuelo, Javier Espinosa and Aitor Cantalapiedra.
Neither club has officially commented on the transfer links, although any deal is unlikely to include a purchase option given how highly rated Busquets is at FC Barcelona.
Busquets is yet to make a first team appearance for La Blaugrana, after suffering a serious knee injury in February 2018, however manager Ernesto Valverde has previously indicated that he wants to keep the Sant Feliu-born player at the club.
