Premier League duo Burnley and Crystal Palace are set to battle it out for Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa.
Roy Hodgson's side had looked favourites to sign the former Levante player, who impressed during a season-long loan at Cardiff City in 2018-29, however Sean Dyche's Clarets have now entered the race to sign the 25-year old.
According to reports from Sky Sports this weekend, Dyche is eager to boost his midfield options for the 2019-20 campaign, with a €10m bid for Camarasa expected next week.
Palace had agreed a fee with Real Betis, who are happy to let Camarasa leave the club as they look to fund moves for Borja Iglesias and other La Liga targets in the coming weeks.
Any deal for Camarasa has to be agreed quickly, with the Premier League transfer window set to close on August 8.
