Enzo Zidane set for move to CD Aves

Former Real Madrid midfielder Enzo Zidane is set for a move to Portuguese side CD Aves.

Zidane, 24, came through the youth ranks at the Santiago Bernabeu between 2004 and 2016, although he never made first team appearance for the club during his father, Zinedine's, first spell in charge.

He moved to Alaves ahead of the 2017-18 La Liga season, with Los Blancos retaining a buy-back option on him, however that move did not work out and the Basque side agreed to terminate his three year contract after just six months.

From there he moved on a free transfer to Swiss club Lausanne-Sport in January, before being loan to Segunda side Rayo Majadahonda for the 2018-19 campaign.

However they declined the option to bring him back to Madrid on a permanent deal, and according to Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo, he is now set for a loan move to Portugal.

The French in U19 international is expected in Portugal on July 14 to complete a medical and sign his contract.

Enzo's brother Luca sealed a loan move away from Real Madrid earlier this month, signing a one-year loan deal with Segunda Division side Racing Santander.
