Atletico Madrid midfielder Roberto Olabe has left the club, to sign for La Liga rivals Eibar.
Olabe has joined the Basque club on a four-year deal, after being told that he was not part of Diego Simeone's first team plans for the 2019-20 season.
The 23-year old, who signed for Atletico Madrid in 2016, from Villarreal, has not played for the club's senior side and spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Segunda Division side Extremadura, making 34 appearances.
He made the decision following the arrivals of Marcos Llorente and Hector Herrera, as Simeone looks to rebuild his midfield following the departure of Rodri, to Manchester City.
Olabe is Eibar's eighth signing of the 2019-20 summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Alvaro Tejero, Marc Cucurella and Pedro Bigas in June 2019.
