Kevin-Prince Boateng has given his farewells to Barcelona following the end of his loan deal: “I have given everything here.”
The Ghanaian forward joined the Catalan giants on a loan deal until the end of the campaign in January while the Spanish champions held the €8m clause to sign the player permanently.
Despite representatives of Sassuolo surprisingly saying that the forward could join the Blaugrana permanently, he has confirmed his exit from the Camp Nou.
“This is the end of one of the most exciting experiences of my career, thanks to everyone who has made this possible,” Boateng told his social media, as cited by Marca.
“Thanks to my colleagues who have made me feel at home from the start, they are champions and exceptional people.
“Thanks to the board, always available and present. A special thought for the fans, the culés: I will always carry you in my heart.
“I would have liked to have given more, but I have given everything I could in every minute I have been given to honour this fantastic shirt.
