Osasuna have completed the signing of Barcelona striker Marc Cardona – who spent last season on loan at Eibar – for a fee of €2.5m.
The 23-year-old started just six La Liga games last campaign at Ipurua and netted three goals, having previously been at Barca’s B team across three seasons.
Newly-promoted Osasuna have confirmed he has now signed a four-year deal at El Sadar while his contract will contain a €14m release clause.
Cardona’s most famous moment in football so far came away at Real Madrid earlier this season, when he opened the scoring for Eibar, who eventually lost 2-1.
He is the third player to depart the Camp Nou on Tuesday after goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen joined Valencia while Everton completed the permanent signing of Andre Gomes.
