Budgetary restraints at Eibar have led to an increasingly close business relationship with La Liga champions Barcelona, as reports highlight.
Marca underline how half of the Basque club’s six summer arrivals came from the Camp Nou – Jose Antonio Martinez, Marc Cucurella and Marc Cardona (pictured).
Martinez is the only permanent arrival and has since joined Granada on loan but the report explains how Eibar – who are now in their fifth successive season in the top flight – are increasingly reliant upon such moves.
Eibar have signed Cucurella and Cardona on season-long loan deals with the option of a permanent deal while Barca see the moves as being good for their development.
Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side have picked up just three points from their opening three league matches this campaign.
