Atletico Madrid will attempt to sign Monaco striker Radamel Falcao this summer six years after his exit, according to reports.
El Mundo Deportivo cite the club’s interest, stemming from a report in L’Equipe that also claimed that Valencia are interested in the striker.
The 33-year-old netted 16 goals across 38 matches for the Ligue 1 club this season but now appears set for an exit after three seasons in France.
Falcao spent two seasons at Atletico between 2011 and 2013 in which he was extraordinarily prolific, netting a remarkable 70 goals and helping his side to the Europa League and Copa del Rey titles while becoming a fan favourite.
