Getafe boss Jose Bordalas insists he will not talk about the club’s European chances despite being on course for Champions League qualification.
Los Azulones sit fourth in the standings with just four matches remaining – ahead of Sevilla on their head-to-head record with Valencia also in the running for a top four finish.
“People can talk about Europe, but I am forbidden from doing so,” Bordalas told reporters, as cited by El Mundo Deportivo.
“There are teams that play a lot and have those goals but the only thing we can promise is that we will fight to the end.
“We are only talking about going from game to game and we are happy with this performance against a great rival – and Real Madrid are great, even if they do not win a title.
“We found it difficult to contain their attack in the first half but in the second we improved and they could not threaten us.
“We tried our all to win – at one point we had four strikers on the pitch.”
