Brahim Diaz: I want to stay at Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz wants to remain at the club next season, despite reports linking him with a loan move away from the Santiago Bernabeu in 2019-20.

Diaz started only his second game under Zinedine Zidane, in the 0-0 draw at Getafe on Thursday night, and the former Manchester City man is hopeful he will get more chances to shine in the coming weeks.

"I am pleased to start tonight, I thought we deserved the victory, but in the end a draw is a good result.

"I am here in Madrid and I want to play as much as I can.

"I want to remain at the club for many years to come, it is the best club in the world."

Zidane is likely to make changes this summer, with Diaz and Jesus Vallejo widely reported to be on the list of players he will look to loan out – however the 19 year-old showed flashes of his promise in the derby clash with Jose Bordalas' side and could be an option for next season.
