Brazilian club Flamengo have joined Barcelona in the race to sign out-of-contract Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis, say Globo Esporte.
The 33-year-old is out of contract at the Wanda Metropolitano this summer and has been strongly linked with a move to Barca this summer to provide back-up for Jordi Alba.
The left-back started his career at Brazilian side Figueirense before moving to European football with a switch to Ajax in 2004 and has also enjoyed stints at Deportivo La Coruna and Chelsea.
The same report from his native country confirms an approach from the Catalan giants while Borussia Dortmund are also said to hold an interest in a potential move.
