Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is hopeful his France international teammate Antoine Griezmann will join him at the Camp Nou.
The Atletico Madrid forward, who celebrated his 28th birthday last week, has long been linked with a move to the Blaugrana.
Griezmann was said to be close to joining the Catalan giants last summer in a €100m deal before penning a long-term deal at Atleti, but is now said to be available at €120m.
“I would be happy if Griezmann came to Barcelona, we would have a place for him,” Umtiti told Telefoot, as cited by Marca.
“He is performing very well in Madrid, he is happy there and is at team who plays around him, but who knows the future.”
